Wayne’s humble roots and unbridled energy entertain audiences with cutting-edge yet clean, curse-free material that transcends cultural lines. Finding material in the everyday and applying his genius for freestyling, Wayne has mastered the art of storytelling. In 2022, he performed in sold-out theaters during his “Straight Out of the Mud” tour, followed in 2023 with the “Help is On the Way” tour all while concurrently releasing a debut book with the same name. In the book, Wayne shares his seemingly impossible story with hopes of inspiring others to see the possibilities for living a rich, full life are limitless, no matter the circumstances.
Wayne was named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” in 2021. Currently, Wayne co-hosts "I Love Us," a comedy clip show on BET+ alongside Kym Whitley. His recent Netflix stand-up special, “Kountry Wayne: A Woman’s Prayer” showcased his southern flare in this one-of-a-kind special on fatherhood, gender dynamics, and faith. Wayne also starred in the BET original Christmas rom-com, “Holiday Heartbreak,” MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out” with Nick Cannon and released his debut EP, “Drip & Zay,” produced by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Zaytoven.
